Elliot is gonna be a Big Brother!

We found out a couple of weeks ago that we are going to be having another BOY!  I am sure he and Elliot will have lots of adventures! Trevor and I are very excited and August seems like it is coming up fast!!

Elliot seems pretty happy... but I am don't think he really understands what that means.

This is just a random picture because he was making me laugh when he just started chewing on his toe!  He is such a cutie!  I love him so much!

It's Spring!!

We really enjoyed the days when the weather seems to be warming up.  We can't wait for it to stay warm outside!  Elliot really likes being outside, and doing things that are different from the toys he's had all winter.

We went to Tonia's Lacross game.  Grandma came too.  It was fun to watch her for about 10 minutes...

...then he wanted to wander all over the place.  That little blue dot way over by the buildings is him.  Usually when we are in a new place he will stay pretty close to me, or wander a little bit and then come back, but for some reason this time, he had no problem just going off on his own.  I don't know how far he would have gone if I didn't go after him!

We took some walks through the neighborhood.  He does pretty good at staying on the sidewalk.  Every once in a while I have to remind him to come back.

Aunt Polly put a couple of her bunnies outside.  He liked watching them.  He gave them each a piece of pepper, but they didn't like it.  It was still fun to watch them though!

Climbing around the yard.  He was having a lot of fun doing this until he got to a steep part of the yard and fell and rolled on his face in the dirt.  He wasn't hurt at all, but he had dirt all over his face and hands.  It even got in his eyes and ears... not sure how, he was only on the ground for a few seconds.  After that he was ready to come in

The Zoo, Library, and the Park

We went to the Zoo a little bit ago.  Elliot liked the gorillas the best.  I am not sure if he liked them because they look sort of like people, or if they were close enough that he could see them well.  But he just sat and looked at this one for a while.  He kept checking with me and Grandma to see if it was ok, and then he would watch him some more.

We went to the library and Elliot loved it!  He loves books!  The problem is the library has so many it is hard to choose!  He would bring me a book and we would sit down to read, but after a page or 2 he would want to go and get another book!  He didn't want to miss out on anything! Plus the beanbag chairs were his size!  He loved it!

We went to Discovery Park as a family.  Daddy pushed him in the swing...

He made words with the blocks...

And just had a good time climbing around on everything!

He also got to swing a little bit with Mom.

This, that, and the other

We are half way through March!  I don't know where the time goes, but it sure seems to fly by sometimes.

Elliot pulled this bag of potatoes off the table.  He said "Oh!" then tried his best to put it back up.  I don't think that is what he was expecting when he pulled on the plastic!

The shopping train!  Trevor gets a free ride, and Polly gets work her muscles.

Elliot was a little sick this past week, and he just wanted to lay around for a lot of the day.  We just hung out and relaxed.  Luckily for me, I didn't catch it.

Elliot likes to play his keyboard.  Some days he will sit and play...

...and other days he finds alternative methods.  He plays it his way!

He found this mask and was playing Peek-a-Boo.  It made me laugh to watch him walking around holding that up to his face!

Elliot is so smart!! he found the pan on the table, so he grabbed it and ran over to the drawer and pulled out the oven mitt!  He knows whats going on!

Building with some blocks.  Mostly he likes to take things apart, but he is learning that he can put them together too.

And the bucket can be used for all kinds of purposes.  Sometimes he will put it on his head and walk around.  He only runs into stuff sometimes...

St. Patrick's Day!  Aunt Claire made this cute tie for him.  He is just hanging out after class, and wanted to be one of the "big kids".

A small sampling of the last few months

Elliot and Trevor playing the guitar.  Maybe on day Elliot will do it on his own!

He just LOVES oranges!  He didn't even want to wait for me to peel that one!

Making funny faces!

Playing in a fort we built

Elliot thought that this was a good place to sit down...

The phone lights up when you push the buttons?!!

Look Mom, no hand!

Happy as ever to have someone read to him.  Thanks Aunt Tonia!

But Dad, if you just give me a chance I'm sure I could help you with that!

Valentines Day.  This was part of Trevor's surprise for me when I woke up.  Trevor is such an incredible husband and I am so lucky to have him!  Not only because of Valentines Day, but because of every other day of the year!

Outings

We went to the aquarium with Grandma and Grandpa Wylie and Bree.  Elliot was touching the starfish and watching the shark.  It just didn't come quite close enough for him.

Elliot and Bree sitting in a boat, ready to go down the river!

My guys just walking around taking it all in

Getting right up next to the otters.

We went to watch Bree's hockey game.  Elliot had fun walking around with Grandma and climbing on stuff.

Elliot's First trip to the library.  Trevor found this book for him and he was the happiest boy!  Elliot loves books!

Christmas Fun

Elliot got to see Santa and Mrs. Clause.  He sat there for a minute then decided he was done and got down. He didn't cry though!

He seemed to like the Grinch more... but he did have Trevor there too.

Elliot finding a little surprise in his stocking one morning

Gotta love Christmas hats!

Merry Christmas Eh!

Waiting to see a live nativity,  It was cold, and there was a long wait, but we made it!
